MBC was born on November 1, 2000. Within six months it became one of the country’s top music PR firms. The company was founded by joint directors Moira Bellas and Barbara Charone.
The current client roster includes: Madonna, Foo Fighters, Olly Murs, Imagine Dragons, Jeff Lynne's ELO, Paloma Faith, Rufus Wainwright, Mark Ronson, Kasabian, Depeche Mode, Paolo Nutini, Rag'n'Bone Man, Pearl Jam, Primal Scream, Dido, Tom Chaplin, Ray Davies, Jake Bugg, Simply Red, Robert Plant, Pearl Jam, Rod Stewart, Keith Richards, Elvis Costello, Martha Wainwright, Jack Savoretti, Maroon 5, Apple Corps, Russell Brand, David Walliams and exciting music venue Under the Bridge.
Both Bellas and Charone are among the most respected women working in the music business and between them have worked with just about everyone that is anyone. In November 2001, they were honoured as Women of the Year by Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy and The Brit Trust and in 2006 & 2009 won the coveted Music Week PR Award.
Moira Bellas left WEA Records September 1, 2000 after working for the company for over 25 years.
