GIRL TONES

Both classically trained musicians, the Kentucky based sibling duo traded in their cello and piano for the guitar and drums, metamorphosing into the high-energy rock band back in 2017.

Their music is rooted in garage rock, shaped by the sounds of The White Stripes and Beck, but are also heavily influenced by the Riot Grrrl movement, channelling their unfiltered female rage into blistering, unapologetic anthems. Girl Tones’ classical training is evident throughout their intricate musicality, but perfectly disrupted by their untamed punk energy.

Having released singles including ‘Fade Away’, ‘Again’ and a captivating cover of Radiohead’s ‘High and Dry’, in their short, but mighty existence, the band have already garnered a dedicated following, as well as crossing off bucket list venues like Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado. The future looks bright Girl Tones.
