LION New Single ‘Second Hand’ Out Now

Supports Band of Horses on European Summer Tour
Headlines London’s Thousand Island 30th April
Last autumn, LION, aka Beth Lowen, released her impressive debut EP Fiction. Fuelled by her incredibly distinctive vocals – honed from performing at local pubs and venues since the age of 13 – the EP’s stand out track ‘Oh No’attracted the interest of 6 Music and Radio 1, landing her a Maida Vale session.

Now, having toured the UK as special guest to Nathaniel Rateliff in January, LION returns with the gutsy new single ‘Second Hand’, a rocky, emotional ballad that’s set to be a firm favourite across festival dates this summer. The track marks an evolution in her sound, merging spidery guitar parts with her trademark vocals and anthemic choruses, a sure sign of good things to come as she works on her debut LP.
