New Single Spiritual Machines’ Out Now

Following a sweat drenched show, packed to the rafters at The Social in London at the top of the year, Future Utopia, the innovative musical project led by Grammy-winning producer Fraser T. Smith, is back with their groove driven new single ‘Spiritual Machines’. The track is the first to be taken from the trio’s forthcoming album, which is due later this year and the follow-up to his acclaimed 2024 album Django’s High. Listen to ‘Spiritual Machines’ HERE.

An infectiously entrancing track, ‘Spiritual Machines’ is a psyche infused banger made to get people on the dance floor. Recorded at Fraser T Smith’s Utopia studio the track explores how society is becoming ‘automated’. “Under the digital veil of social media, humanity is struggling to balance our true consciousness versus technology and AI,” Fraser says of the track. “Remembering that music is a craft, a lifelong pursuit and that going the long way round is the most rewarding way to create is essential in an age where we can now make whole tracks with the touch of a button.

A renowned producer across the world, Fraser T. Smith has worked with the likes of Adele, Stormzy, Gorillaz, Dave and Sam Smith and has received multiple awards across his career, including a Grammy for his contribution to Adele’s album, 21. Fraser also produced and co-wrote Kae Tempest’s latest single ‘Statue In The Square’, which dropped last month and marks their first release since 2022’s ‘I Saw Light’.

Closing 2025 working with Dave across his acclaimed chart topping record The Boy Who Played The Harp, Fraser kicked off 2026 with a bang. Alongside Future Utopia Fraser has already collaborated with Kasabian and Calvin Harris on their single ‘Release The Pressure,’ worked on J Cole’s ‘Life Sentence’ and Lava La Rue’s latest hit ‘Scratches’. 2026 is set to be another massive year for Fraser and Future Utopia.
