Iconic musician, producer, director, and performance artist, Peaches releases No Lube So Rude, her first full length album in 10+ years. A brash, unapologetic blend of electronic, dance, punk, industrial, and pop music, the album exists at the intersection of the personal and the political, where the body serves not only as a sexual and spiritual vessel, but also as the front line in a battle for basic human rights. Peaches’ lyrics are bawdy and explicit here, laced with biting sarcasm and clever wordplay, but they’re also surprisingly vulnerable, offering up a candid look in the mirror from a post-menopausal queer icon reckoning with a society that’s come to expect silence, if not outright erasure. The album marks her signing and first release on the storied independent label Kill Rock Stars.
To celebrate, Peaches has released the surreal music video for the hyperactive track ‘Hanging Titties.’ Peaches co-stars as a bizarro caretaker alongside Ru Paul’s Drag Race’s JIMBO as her uncanny, uncontrollable nursing home patient. JIMBO also directed the music video with Brad Hammer, which was shot in Las Vegas. Watch the video HERE.
Tonight, Peaches will embark on her 27-date North American tour, kicking off in Miami. The North American tour will feature support from Model/Actriz, Cortisa Star, and Pixel Grip. Peaches has partnered with PLUS1 so that $1 from every ticket sold on the North American tour goes to support the Trans Justice Funding Project and their work funding trans-led grassroots organizations in the US and US Territories who exist to serve and improve the lives of their local and national trans, gender non conforming and non-binary communities. An EU/UK tour will follow in April.

No Lube So Rude features previously released singles including the title track, which was released alongside a music video produced in collaboration with feminist erotic filmmaker Erika Lust. The album also features ‘Not In Your Mouth None of Your Business’ – an “energizing rallying chant for bodily autonomy in the form of a pounding punk dance anthem” (Stereogum), which received a floor-burner remix from Boys Noize and ‘‘Fuck Your Face”, a chanting, pulsating banger of pleasure seeking that Vice proclaimed “showcase[s] what Peaches has long been best at: subverting expectations to balance the poetic and the perverted on an endless knife’s edge,” and received a glitched-out remix from Only Fire. The album, recorded with producer The Squirt Deluxe in Berlin, is a deliberately provocative exploration of identity, sexuality, and bodily autonomy from a feminist trailblazer, a singular work of emotional and sonic alchemy that balances the poetic and the profane in equal measure as it transforms all the friction and frustration of modern life into joy and transcendence.
Peaches has also released a collaboration with Medicine Mama on a “No Lube So Rude” special edition of their Intimate Glide personal lubricant, available online and on Peaches’ tour. Medicine Mama is a women-founded vulva care brand focused on normalizing conversations around intimate health and helping women better understand their bodies. The brand is intentionally vocal about using the words vulva and vagina, with the goal of removing stigma and encouraging education and self-advocacy. Founded by physician Dr. Clare Bertucio, Medicine Mama was created to address a major gap in women’s health—accurate, thoughtful vulva care made by women, for women. At its core, the brand is about empowerment, education, and changing the conversation around intimate care.
